Dreamstate

By BrokenWings

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My covers are the walls of a tower Protecting me from the oncoming storm My sheets are the arms of the one I love Keeping me safe from harm Closing my eyes buys the ticket For the train that's dreamland bound And my thoughts drift away on pillows of blue Freeing me from the binds of realityI wrote this in seventh grade. Just felt like postimg something. Written February 19th, 2002 © on Feb 19 2002 01:04 PM PST   18 • 0 • 10
