Love In The Afternoon
By Buzby
Love In The AfternoonRemember the day I phoned, and asked if you would meet meand soon after we were kissing, beneath an old Oak tree. That afternoon was hot, with justa gentle summer breeze, and a soothing little shower, that filtered through the trees. It was a welcome summer rain that lovingly caressedour hot and sweaty bodies as they gleamed with mingled sweat. Each tender stroke of your hand, left behind a trembling nerve,as you fondled your sweet way across each line and every curve. The Oak tree that we leant on was supportive of our love, even Mother Nature blessed us as birds sung high above. And even though the summer sun shone brightly in the sky,our lust was safely hidden from the eyes of passers-by.As our flesh united, soour souls became entwined,in body, mind and spirit, I was yours and you were mine. But too soon the moment ended,as had our summer rain, and I shed a tear of sorrow, as real life crashed in again. Our stolen time was over -brought back to earth with a jerk, time to return to my husband, whileyou must go back to your work!
