A Song Forgotten
There's so much noise Getting harder to think The dirt turning turquoise The cloud becomes pink Life's meaning has left All of it's mixed up Overwhelmed with cause and effect Inside this sorry dump I'm losing this battle No matter how I fight Being led like cattle In this low moonlight Swimming against the current But it keeps dragging me along Drowning but burnt The bird's forgotten her song.I don't know what to think of this poem. I don't really like it too much but thought I'd post it anyway. Let me know. Written August 19th, 2001 © on Aug 20 2001 12:41 PM PST 0 • 10
