A Positive Outlook By Christopher Cooper It may not be right To waste your time Thinking of happy thoughts. And yet I say even the darkest day Is interrupted by the sun lights play. Some will say all is lost And nothing is worth saving. They say to look at what it cost And not to waste your time By letting your life go on by. But I say there is a brighter day. They say there is no one to trust. That no man is left upon this Earth Who is worthy of this lowly curse. At every turn you'll find the worst. I say even lonely men can learn. Yes lonely men need to be heard. You say I'm just an optimist One who lives life on a pray. Someone who believes In giving life its share. But I say that even on cloudy days The sun is just a cloud away. Written August 18th, 2001 © on Aug 17 2001 04:43 PM PST   0 • 12
