Jason's Dilemma
By cdcooper
Jason's DilemmaBy Christopher Cooper Jason Glover longshoreman and world famous part time philosopher sat drumming his fingers on the desk while counting flies on the ceiling. He loved to wonder what life would be like without people asking the obvious questions: Why is there Braille symbols on the drive through cash machines? If he stole the picture symbols in a school for the blind would the students get confused? If we can't go faster then the speed of light does that mean we can't go slower then the speed of dark? To Jason these were all questions that deserved federal funding. He became more convinced of this after hearing of the scientist who got two hundred thousand dollars to make a mouse-tasting cat food but after reading the instructions wrong he ended up developing cat repellent for mice. It was disappointments like this that made Jason give up on higher education. So he became a non-union longshoreman. This refusal to join the AFL-CIO forced his labor minded but disorganized parents to commit him. So he now sits at a desk drumming his fingers and counting the flies on the ceiling wondering; where in the world does one sign up to see underwater pari-mutuel seahorse racing?
