Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

In an epidemic proportion all across our nation our children are the price we're willing to sacrifice when mothers and fathers who will not stay together our children pay for what we doing Our children are the broken pieces when our home falls apart, yes children are the broken pieces Who's going to mend their tender hearts? our future generation knows only hurt and sorrow our children are neglected too often rejected our lack of compassion for our most treasure possession Our children are the broken pieces when our home falls apart yes children are the broken pieces who's going to mend their tender hearts? The death of morality for the god of society working for better condition our children are in confusion looking for advancement we know no commitment our children are the broken pieces when our home falls apart yes, children are the broken pieces who's going to mend their tender hearts? we need moral values it's up to me and you our children are the voice we have to make the choice if we listen to their plea their cry, their tragedy our children are the broken pieces we will mend their tender hearts.
