Do you know Me?

By Channa

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

You close your prayers in my Name Do you even know who I AM? I only desired compassion no ritual, no religion I came looking for mercy I found children poor and hungry you're so busy with your committees blinded you are and cannot see although I am in your midst I don't edge you, I don't insist you are certain of what I want then, why are you so complacent these little ones who go without will have no hope, there is no doubt unless you practice what you preach give them the love that you teach feed my sheep, clothe the door I will then open wide the door Until you learn to be more like me to walk in my light and be ready to care for those who are helpless relieving them of their distress Give them the hope of Salvation Share my heart, my compassion humbly and meekly do these things with no pulling at their purse's string be a faithful servant after me I came to serve you, to set you free I ask of you the very same That, you can do in my Name.
