Inner staging
By Channa
Loneliness is wedged deep in my heart Emptiness came along playing her part Memory didn't want to be left out so...she sprinkled few regrets about Frustration is nagging and insisting to take part in this staging hopelessness wants a role in the prop and blindly causes the curtains to drop Passion is taking center stage forming around me a burning edge my flesh dressed for the rehearsal is determined to enslave my soul They play with my emotions quite well as evidence of the tears you can tell they miss not a single mark of a play left for me in the dark The director of this insane play is none other than my mind I dare say and by the time the final curtain's fall they all will have answered death's call. This was written last year when I was in deep depression, I am much better now :) Written October 10th, 2001 © on Oct 10 2001 03:01 PM PST 0 • 1
