It Amazes me!

By Channa

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

It amazes me the startling beauty of a single rose the scent it disclose the soft falling snow covering the earth below it astounds my mind the soft whisper of the wind the ocean's mighty roar crushing on sandy shores the quiet country side meadows open wide there may be some flaws yet I am in awe! The peaceful scenery, mountain promontories the valleys down below and the quiet river flow. I cannot understand the plain beauty of the sand or the complex human cell. For the beauty in which I dwell was created with such care I say a simple prayer a prayer of thankfulness for His love and goodness though I can't comprehend I'm in the palm of His hand He is my Creator And my loving Father.
