Mother's love

By Channa

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The love of a mother soft as a whisper Steadfast and steady it does not waiver she believes in her child even when he is wrong She'll give her life for him her love is so strong, She is warm security for the wee new born one a trusting confidant when he turns twenty-one, The love of a mother will last forever she will always be there her love cannot falter she is a beacon bright on a dark stormy night her strong convictions will lead him to the light The love of a mother is patiently waiting for her child to come home never criticizing she is always hopeful and not ready to end the circle she started when that new life began The love of a mother as strange as it may be will give her child courage faith and self esteem then, with his new found wings her child will start to soar the love of a mother will be his open door.
