'Reflections'
By Channa
Everyday I pass her by her eyes color of summer sky sparkled away from many tears tears she cried all these years The somber face that I see somehow rather startled me ripped away from her native land faithfully wore his wedding band For all his children that she gave birth are elsewhere seeking roles on earth left alone with her memory she feels cold, she is lonely What I see is a lost soul feeling useless growing old as I left her company sudden fears grappled me My own tears form a knot and yet I can see That I am not The same as she.
