There's a book I know, of wondrous storiesA truly fine book, a great literaryIt speaks of ancient land, of ancient history.a book packed with actions and many tragediesit is a book 'G' rated for the entire familya little child can understand it quite franklyit holds a moral code, it has few love affairsabout a wealthy king and a maiden so fair,she won the kings heart, while bathing in 'natural' airit speaks of a prophet thrown into the lion's lairit is a book that speaks of desirable pleasuresa book full of wisdom and of boundless treasuresit speaks of evil plots and human cruelty,of greed, self pride and murderous jealousyThere's stories of giants and stories of heroeswhere the good guy wins, with little or no arrowstis a book that foretold natural disastersit warns the readers of an evil destroyersit speaks of miracles, of divine intervention,of a people wandering forty years with no direction.Most of all it's pages are filled incredible lovea love so deep, a love so pure, coming from abovethe love of a G-d, so determined to save humanitythat He sent His only Son to die on Calvary,to take away our wrongs, to make all things rightto stomp away evil and the power of the nightthat we may be called children of the kingSo when our earthly journey's finally end,we will be forever in His glorious light.
