By Citrus
At seventeen and so in love to a man who`s twice her age, her friends are in an uproar her family in a rage. He told her it would be alright he said they couldn`t linger, the only way to seal their love was a ring upon her finger. At nineteen, a lovely son, another on the way, days spent all alone in tears her husband out all day. He tells her "stop the nagging" thats all he ever hears, she thinks about her friends advice and to all her families fears. At twenty one the love all gone her husband has another, she dreams of men in magazines and longs to be their lover. Now the happy wedding photo, shakes within her tearful grip as carefully and deliberately she slowly starts to rip. Written March 14th, 2002 © on Mar 13 2002 07:52 PM PST 0 • 8
