There was a time when we shared the mistakes of our intentions. I watched the rocks fall down as they knocked you from your throne. You weren't much more than a dead leaf withered on the grass. I must have been a catapillar... I ate everything from your undying vine. You must have been sick, But I was so hungry... Too hungry to wonder if you were even real. Winter came without warning. I pressed on to store you away, and I never once stopped consuming what was left on your vine. I don't know what happened. This is when the rocks fell ruthlessly upon you. I died slowly... You never even knew who you were. This is about codependency. Not my favorite, but I felt I needed to have this one out there. ~ROXY Written December 5th, 2001 © on Dec 05 2001 03:41 AM PST   0 • 1
