Kiss Me # 2
By colleen
'Do you want to kiss me?' He whispered softly in her ear In the back seat of his friend's car. 'Only since I first met you,' She whispered back, smiling brightly in the dark car As her soft lips touched his for the first time And they both thought to themselves, 'So this is what love is.' 5 years later She stands before him in a beautiful white gown A train that seems to stretch for miles And flowered lace He swears she never looked so beatiful. They say thier vows, Promises of devotion and love forever Without a doubt in either of thier minds'. "You may kiss the bride," The priest says at the end of the ceremony. They smile shly, As if the past 5 years had been a dream And they were starting all over again. "Do you want to kiss me?" He whispers to her on the altar of the brightly church In front of friends and family. "Only since I first met you," She smiles innocently. And they both know That this is what love is.
