Some Tales of Love...(Part 2, revised)
By colleen
This land is haunted with memories of another time Old friends and lovers Who wandered along these paths together. If these trees could talk They would tell tales over a hundred years old Of first loves and first kisses, Laughter and tears. When he first said, 'I love you,' And she first cried out In pleasure with his magic touch. These trees could tell us unimaginable secerets Filled deep within this forest. There's the large tree That was her shade Comforting her from the awful news While she sat on that rock And cried for hours Even though the telegram said he felt no pain. Outside The fighting continues Harsh faces of reality greet us all each day But within this home of trees And stones unturned Lies an untouched land of mystery And stories left to be told.it's just a lil bit extra, still not quite done...let me know how it's coming:) Written December 5th, 2001 © on Dec 04 2001 03:25 PM PST 0 • 8
