Death Comes In The Night

By Cope

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Day awakens, Killing the demon. The battle has been won. Evil defeated again. Night falls again, Fog dampening the air, Casting a haze, Over the demons moon. She comes to me again, I am cursed, One of the damned. Her firey red hair, The flicker of a campfire, The same red eyes, Branding my soul. Slowly she approaches, Walking with temptation. I am mesmorized again, Too afraid to turn away. Suddenly she strikes, Nails peircing my throat, Life gushes from my body, Great power of evil, Lift me from my feet, There sat the demon, Below me, Feeding upon my soul.
