Everyday of My Life (A Valintine's Day Poem)

By Cope

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

For the first time, I am alone on Valintine's day, My one true love, Seems eternities away. Strange, it seems, Being alone on this day, But full of love, My heart seems to stay. Wishing to be with you, Every day and every night. Did you know our love is so perfect, We've never been in a fight. Here, on this one day of love, Pondering it's purpose, And now clearer than ever, It seems to be worthless. Why should we need it? One day of love, Not for us, simply spoken, We are deeply in love. Everyday with you, The best day of my life. When the time is right, Hoping to make you my wife. Never again, Will we have to be apart, The utter missery, The pain upon the heart. To my one true love, Happy Valintine's Day! Even though together, We have that love everyday. Don't worry my love, Soon I will return, Our love can further ignite, Our passion continuing to burn.Happy Valintine's Day Sheena! Written February 13th, 2002 © on Feb 13 2002 06:58 AM PST    0 • 8
