My White Paper of Insanity
By Cope
My white piece of paper, What ever I want it to be, In my mind, That's what I see. It could be a catfish, All green and old, Smoking his pipe, Complaining of the cold. It could be a lady bug, One of tye-dye, Smokin his joint, Just to get high. It could be two monkeys that are big and purple, Riding on a little yellow monster truck, Driving around singing at the top of thier lungs, !We just don't give a fuck!" It could be a big shark, Huge white teeth, Fighting a giant bear on a tiny boat, Attacking from underneath. Oh no there it goes, Colors now starting to swirl, Slowly they mix, My mind begins to whirl. My white paper alive, With color and beauty, Happiness taking over, Doing it's duty. Slowly my world changes, As if in a cartoon, I am sure this vacation, Won't end soon. There we sat, My paper and I, Wondering how to work together, So we could fly. Then out of no where, It came without warning............... That's how I found it, This morning. Written February 20th, 2002 © on Feb 19 2002 04:42 PM PST 0 • 14
