Nasty Little Devils!!!

By Cope

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

There I see it, The last cigarette, I want to light it, But can’t handle the regret. It sits there lifeless, Waiting to produce its sweet smoke. I really should light it, Just give it a little toke. I can smell its sweet aroma, The comfort as it rest upon my lips. However, if I do it I will again be lashed, By nicotine’s whips. So what do I do, To fill such undying boredom? This craving I have, Will I ever overcome?I HATE CIGARETTES!!!!!!! (like to smoke 'em though!) Written April 16th, 2002 © on Apr 16 2002 12:49 PM PST    0 • 14
