Nature' Simple Lessons
By Cope
Night falls over day, Leaving a lake of purple shimmer, The grass green begins to fade, On this night magic has just begun. The crickets man their violins, Bringing the sound of love to the air. Slowly, as stars begin to show in the sky, Green lights illuminate the land. The fireflies begin, Their intimate dance of love. Flying though the air, Flirting and fluttering bye. They dance though the air, With great agility and ease. Soon a mate will be found, A beautiful love created, A love so simple, The purest love of all. So pure in beauty, The majestic purple lake, And the grass green, They cannot begin to compare. Natures love is pure, So pure and simple, To us it is utterly ignored.I am thinking about writing more like this, simpley because it is more fun. However, before I do, I would like as many opinions on this one as possible. Thank you all for all of your help. Cope Written January 26th, 2002 © on Jan 26 2002 12:44 PM PST 0 • 8
