Night Awakes The Demon
By Cope
Night's darkness, Falls upon the soul. Awakening to a demon, That of immortality. The vampire approaches, Firey red eyes, Burning thoughts of hell, Rise as heat from the flames. Fighting to turn abroad, Stranded by it's expressions. Fangs drawn now, Threatening death, Neverending death. As the vampire attacks, Scratching first at my back, My skin sizzles of it's touch. I begin to blead, Life now draining out, Out of my lifeless body. The vampire draws back, As if to smile upon it's prey. Weak, wounded, lifeless. I rise to my knees, Defend with pride. The vampire smiles, Flaming eyes, Burning through my soul, Strikes again, Leaving heart, soul, and happiness, Changed forever, Trapped by the living dead.
