Painted By Death ( Challenge Submission )
By Cope
It stands there in beauty, Poised and magnificent, A flawless picture, Painted by death. The more I stare, In awe of its beauty, Thoughts of a greater beauty, Swim through my head. A love so strong, Healthy, and beautiful, A flawless picture, Ending with death. Now I sit, Pondering two beauties, On this last hour of night, Both ending in death, Our last hour of life. It’s gentle silk, Caressed my lips, Reminding me of love’s past, A God-like taste. I came upon her, Her falsities of love, One last kiss, Just to say good-bye, One last kiss, Before we die. A sensational feeling, Now together forever. We fall to our knees, Wilting like the flower of the fall, It’s beauty faded.Challenge posted bye: gecko Challenge Description: "I would like to see an ode to a bloom without actualy telling me exactly what the bloom is.
