Unite In Tragedy

By Cope

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Today, I speak of love, But a different love, A love deep and strong, The love of my country. A country which has been threatened. Our way of life, It too, has been threatened. Our freedom, Certainly, most hated of all, Threatened. Fellow Americans, Of all race and religion, Unite, we must. Terminate terrorism, Not just in our country, But all over Mother Earth. We must put aside ALL of our differences, Join together and fight, Unite together, To preserve FREEDOM, And the American way. For, so many lives, Family, friends, and loved one’s, Are now gone forever. Unite we must, Cure this disease, Extinguish it from the world. We can then live peaceful, happy, and free.
