Your Fast Ride
By Cope
First it starts, Then it goes, It goes and it goes, Faster and faster, Out of control. Waiting, wanting, hoping, Praying for you to stop. I have watched it happen, Seen things of horror, Still faster and faster, Out of control. Still you went, Wether for him, Or, because of yourself. That I wish I could understand. The faster things went, The more you are lost. First it starts, Then it starts again, Play his games, Bask in your defeat, When you are left again, Again with lonliness. Your life is fast, Way too out of control. At some point, Stupidly expecting, Even the briefest stop. Faster and faster they go, Lost in your foolishness, Living a delusional life, A life built of nothingness. A life of pity. Faster and faster you go, Gone, out of sight. With all my anger, Hostility and pain, Hopefully, your disallusioned life, Will not kill, The death of my love for you. Or the death of my love. Good luck on your journey, My love, I cannot send, Hopefully, I will be here, When your fast ride ends. Written September 1st, 2000 © on Feb 13 2002 06:03 PM PST 18 • 0 • 1
