To Labor Your Name

By debbie

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Waking up this morning to your melodic name; ahhhh, yessss dancing in my thoughts as it so does always. As sweet and gentle as a bouncing butterfly dancing circles in summer's heat, it stills my shaking mind and replenishes me to live some more. As bold and fierce as a twisting tornado destroying the inhabited land it invades my very being and rips apart my composure, tearing down every fiber that holds me as one. No other name makes me feel as does your's; could it be that my mind incessantly, laboriously and freely sings of an unforgetable you and therefore you forever exist? As the familiar reverberations continue and beyond to labor your name is none to labor, but always ....to love.dare I say to please be brutaly honest when commenting on my poem- I need all the help I can get :) Thanks!
