The Answer Trees

The Answer Trees by Grant Johnson Remembering is the key to unlocking the knowing, Illumine your path with wisdom's soft glowing. The questions the answer and the answer is true Just open the door and force yourself through. To pass from your world of deaf, dumb and blind You must slide back the bolt from the vault of your mind. Throw open the door and see far below The deep fertile valley where the answer trees grow. Their limbs are all burdened with fruit full and sweet. At last you partake of their lush tender meat. Now it's time to depart, pass again through the door, Into the dark world where you were just before. But now your old world seems suddenly new, As if being seen from a new point of view. As the taste of those fruits are lingering still You know they're to thank for this new way you feel. And now that you know that you hold the keys You'll go back many times to feast on the trees. But, for now just savor that taste on your tongue For on wisdom's ladder, you've moved up by one rung. DogbaneThis is about self-discovery and allowing ourselves to look within even though we may be afraid of what we might find.
