i thought it would get better.i thought good would prevail.but the devil will not die.the Phoenix rises from his cigarette ash.as the days go on,the hours get longer, but the monthstake years to pass.they rip my bloodfrom my poverty-stricken pockets, choking my criesare the mighty-minority rich. (since when does minority rule?)hiding under my concrete home which arches and shelters my head.the bridges are my home.this is my new home.my stomach growls.do they knowthe ease with which i cry?the cause is money.have they scrubbedthe toilets of the royalty?have they hadtheir blood flowcut off?do they lay and waitand prayto the non-existent godsto send the devilto hell,so they can eat foranother day?blood = money. i know that the first few lines may not seem to have much to do with the rest of it, but it does tie in at the end. the devil is my father, by the way. now you all know that i am completely psychotic. too bad. devil = money problems. blood = money.
