King Tree
By edenbak
There was only one tree left, and we approached it with burning hearts, like children who had made our mother cry. In sight of his fallen brethren, a god sized game of pick-up sticks, we crowned him king. In the winter that followed, his boughs broke under the weight of the snow. Bare he now stood, a stumpy old man. All hail the armless king!I think this one is really wierd. But I like it. Written March 17th, 2002 © on Mar 17 2002 07:13 AM PST 0 • 1
