Revolution

I’m sorry I was not home today, I was taking my life to the anvil, To forge a fertile existence, where the grass rallies in violent uprising against the oppressive institutions of my mind. To their resource draining free-trade policy, I will no longer fall victim. My borders are now open to your love alone. Together we will rebuild our foundations, giving the authority back to ourselves. Sit next to me on the seat of power, we will govern this new world together, alike in greatness to one another. Shall we now pledge allegiance, to the flag we will never lower on one another?A big part of me went into this one. Enjoy. Written March 19th, 2002 © on Mar 18 2002 03:50 PM PST   10 • 8 • 13
