Rose Petals from Heaven Darkest hour Fervent prayer Restless child in despair A Father hears, a Father sees And sends upon a gentle breeze Rose petals from Heaven Outstretched hand Breath Divine Carried by the night mist fine Wafting slowly, wafting sweet Landing softly at my feet Rose petals from Heaven One by one They fill the room Crowding out the blackest gloom Spirit Fragrant, Spirit Holy Bringing peace and comfort solely Rose petals from Heaven Silky soft Scarlet red Each one a drop of blood he shed Covering body, covering soul Spirit broken, now made whole By Rose petals from Heaven Grace and mercy God sent love Gentle touch of velvet glove Rocks this troubled child to sleep In Holy cradle laden deep With Rose petals from Heaven Written February 21st, 2002 © on Feb 21 2002 05:23 AM PST   0 • 13
