Freedom - Faith's Hope
By fredhib
Freedom – Faith’s Hope Freedom is A drop of rain that falls with kindness and grace Through a scarlet sun-seared sky Driven hard on a hot wind And must fall or it will die as A meaningless unfulfilled promise Hope is A seed planted in the ground covered with earth warming love And watered and weeded and Watched and smiled on from above While deciding life or existence as A meaningless unfulfilled promise Freedom is A willingness to choose choices and grow in faith Protected by hope’s prayer that befriends in times of despair And whispers better times to come When morning’s light will warm your soul Opening hearts door to welcome the new day or you may stay as A meaningless unfulfilled promise Hope is What You will say When children cry and mothers scream And your world becomes a sea tuned green And the sky is dyed by brother’s blood torn rage And buildings fall and legs fly off And terror rules the day in a Meaningless unfulfilled promise What hope then? What freedom there Share with me all thinking men The only prayer Faith and Freedom’s Hope. Written April 20th, 2002 © on Apr 19 2002 10:33 PM PST 18 • 0 • 9
