Not Another Love Song

Not Another Love Song Trampled trust Punished promises Requited and unrequited Given and taken Used and abused We’ve all been there Whats new? Eyes full of moon Waves on crystal shores Beat time to hearts entwined As tender touches explore and whisper Forevers and evers Just us two – Do me a favour Whats new? Argument and tears Sultry suspicion Feeding jealous fears Goodbye coition Slam doors Children scream Lovers no more Don’t sing me another love song I’m not impressed by romance It lies with sighs from sultry eyes And tempts us to pretend it cannot end And daddy slides Out the front door, when Lovers are never no more. Whats new? Written April 20th, 2002 © on Apr 20 2002 01:24 AM PST    18 • 0 • 9
