Another Goodbye

By Highland Dreams

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

In the glow of the early morning light Our eyes are locked in a silent embrace I feel the warm rush of tears As they start to stream down my cheeks Your heart beating against mine Fingers intertwined, clenched hands Only a bead of perspiration separates us Two bodies move in a rhythmical dance As sweet spiraling pleasure consumes us Emotions sweep over me like a warm breeze Your passionate cries of love Muffled in the tender kisses on my brow Silently we lay in each others arms Knowing what the daylight brings I bury my head in your chest Praying that tomorrow never comes Written October 15th, 2001 © on Oct 15 2001 06:50 AM PST   18 • 0 • 8
