Don't Cast the First Stone
By KastleK
A judgment place upon a feeling or poem Is a judgment placed upon a heart It pierces to the very soul With a comment biting and oh so cold Why do they not want to hear The undistorted facts thus told Does denial run deep in their veins Do they hide their own aches and pains Hurts that they must have endured No one gets through life unscathed Have their tender feelings gone underground Nevermore to be found? Let the one who says, truly, only love they've known Be the one to cast the first stoneI wrote this because I have experienced the first-hand damage that comes from being judged for feeling.
