guerilla sunrise

my dreamship sailor, won't you come away with me? i know that soon the tide of war will rend eternity and if you stay behind, my love, as sure as i can say, i'll never find your body when i come back in the Day. can't you see and hear it, deep behind my eyes, the sharp, dead twanging of aluminum skies? (we follow, we follow, we follow watch out, for the footbridge is hollow) "did you think to check, in the clamor of dawn if the little granite sculpture had become the fawn?" i tell you now, my moonlit dream, i must go on alone i leave you by the woodland path a wish of yesterday and hope that one day, some day soon you'll find the words to say. i am not afraid. (you might ask the mirror if the leading edge of soldiers didn't come through here.) my ivory-tower existence would be fitting for a prince. but you have gone away and i've been lonely ever since. come back, my little sundrop! come back, my precious pearl we both shall soon regret it if you choose the other world.one of my take-what-comes poems... just now wrote it... yes. well, then.
