[Whither wilt wander, lady fair?]

Whither wilt wander, lady fair? The night is long, and damp the air. How will you find the darkened trail That leads you to the end? I had a life within the stream, A bright and miserable place When they removed the amber wall I found that I had been misplaced. The king, he came, amid the throng A diamond sparkling on his ring To kill the rash usurper-lass Who'd dared to dismantle the story. Can you explain, amid the pain Of losing someone]something dear How anyone could ride away Pretending they'd seen nothing here?Autumn/Winter/? 2001, I have no idea. Really, I don't. Most of the stuff I write seems to have a story behind it, but it would take a lot of work and consolidation before I knew what was going on. Tell me what you think. Maybe I'll upload more later.
