Osama Bin Laden (A parody of Abou Ben Adhem by Leigh Hunt) Osama Bin Laden (may he rot in Hell) Awoke one night in a cave like cell And saw, within the rubbish in his room Making it stink until the crack of doom An angel, writing in a book of black:- Since tact was something Laden seemed to lack Unto the presence in the room he said, "What writest thou?" The vision raised its head And with a look compounded of deep hate Answered, "I think for you this question comes too late" "Why so?" Bin Laden said. "I think you know" Replied the angel. Bin Laden spoke more low But cheerly still; and said, "Give me fair reply" "Well, mate" replied the angel, "You're about to die." The angel wrote, and vanished. the next night It came again with a great wakening light. And showed the book "A List of Eternal Damned" And lo! Bin Laden's name led the whole band. This is more of a parody than a satire and it was written a fair while ago. Still, you are welcome to read it and see what you think. Have a look at Abou ben Adhem to get the idea. Written January 29th, 2002 © on Jan 29 2002 08:48 AM PST   0 • 18 • 14
