Avalon
By Ld Marduk
Greeted by the morning sun, among the hills of Avalon,‘tis I seek…thy presence there,And wonder truly, should I dare? For in this place of deep reflection, still afraid of thy rejection…I find upon my cheek,a glistened dew drop that I weep,Among the hills of Avalon. For though my heart,so long in sorrow, sought to find, perhaps to borrow…but a moment to confess, that what I long for, is…I guess—Confirmation of thy feelings,And not, per sae, some awkward dealings,Disguised as happiness. For such is nought but idle chatter, conversation weak and battered, and in this place, ‘tis not to be,For here, ‘tis a place, of harmony. So I simply stare in wonder,at the hills of Avalon, taking in their beauty,as I but await the one—For whom my heart desires still, seeking only…if thou wilt,To but hold thee in my arms. And such, shall e’er I always, thou art quite dear to me,as I await thy presence, greeted by the morning sun,Among the hills…of Avalon.
