Bitter Frost
By Ld Marduk
So dark, so cold, so all alone,One empty heart…one barren soul,Bereft of all familiar things,Of love…of hope…tis maddening—For where once passion…and desire,Ruled…unquestioned,Stoked the pyre,Now such feelings…long been dead,Shriek in torment in my head—For long ago…twas such was lost,Replaced with such a bitter frost,That heart and soul…bereft of all,In bitter anguish… cry in vain,For such to cease…and end their pain.
