Emptiness
By Ld Marduk
There is a void within me,An emptiness so vast,That my heart and all its feelings,Are caught within its grasp—There is a pit…that’s bottomless,Which cannot e’er be filled,It is the place where love was lost,That even now…is still—An eerie and forbidding place,Where only fools would go,And as myself….have been there,Such then…I should know—And barren is this wasteland,And most formidable,For ‘tis a place of tears and pain,That’s truly terrible—Thus, this void within me,Having taken full control,Of my heart and all its feelings,Makes it quite impossible—To ever ease the emptiness,Unto which my fate is sealed,For this pit…is bottomless,And never…can be filled.
