Ruins
By Ld Marduk
Among the ruins…heart and soul,Were found the fragments of,The remnants of what once had been,My feelings dear…of love—For long ago they were laid siege,And later then…to ruin,For though…alas…they werest true,And…yea…genuine—Such were n’er, themselves, allowed,To see the light of day,But were instead…laid siege to,Forever locked…away—And thus…at last…they didst succumb,And lost…it was…were they,Among the ruins…heart and soul,Where they art…unto this day.
