Tempest
By Ld Marduk
Deep within a storm doth rage,My heart and soul…in torment wage,A war within, and yes, without,For such, there is, can be no doubt—That fierce, though such a tempest be,‘Tis only pain…and misery,Suffered oft and violently,Where passion…and desire—Art but merciless and unrelenting,Seeking solace in repenting,For some mere slight…That didst but wound,Yet didst fester…and consume—Thus in this tempest I abide,Seeking for a place to hide,For there is not…a place for me,When love is lost…so easily,And emotions thunder…violently,In my heart…and soul—And yet… Pandemonium still doth reign,And I cannot hope…to contain,The fury that such fate has dealt,Knowing that such…oft…is felt,When love hath been…denied me—Thus, within, the storm doth rage,Perhaps…eternally,For without love…to tame it,'Tis all…insanity.
