The Sun Went Out
By Ld Marduk
Cold and bleak…Art but the skies…No starlight… Finds its way…The moon is gone…To be no more…The sun went out…Today—And all of this…Was brought about,By a heart…And soul…In pain…From the loss… Of something…Very dear…That n'er… Shall be again.So tis my world…This austere place…For thou…Hast gone away…Even knowing…Of my love…Could not… Convince thee…To stay—Now my world's…A lonely place…A silent, lifeless, thing…Bereft of hope…For thou art gone,That love…E'er again…Will have meaning.
