Time (II)
By Ld Marduk
Time itself…is passing,the days…once drifting by,now seem to race…out pace me,as I merely watch them fly—For the autumn of my days,is but…mere moments…away,soon…to but be over,mere dust within the grave—It is said: ‘Time waits for no man,’I know this, to be true,as I watch thy children grow,and then…their children too—I know my time is finite,and now…is nearly gone,so such…I cannot spare,second guessing…what went wrong—For in the time we had…together,I had hoped…for many things,but chief of all…was not to be,so only memories remain—Of a time…that is no more,of loves I lost…never having gained,My time on earth…no more.
