Torn

Torn apart…and torn asunder,Can it be then…such a wonder?Doth thou find me too aloof,Or art thou seeking yet more proof,For though I tell thee…each new day,My feelings for thee…are the same,That I love thee…heart and soul,It seems…that I am wanting—For in thy manner…it doth seem clear,That though I hunger…to be near,To but hold thee…in my arms,Such thou wouldst not e’er allow,Thus torn apart…and torn asunder,Be it that…I love thee still.
