Insomnia

(Drum beat) I sigh and lay my head down For me to take a rest Twenty Z's for me to catch A lovely sleepy fest I've been up for thirty Hours straight - no lie My head is pounding Sleeping sounding I feel like I could cry I cloes my eyes up real tight And think about my day Maybe I can bore to sleep And dream the night away But my head is hurting And it will not let me sleep I can not dream I wanna scream Awakey I must keep I toss and turn for hours At a time in bed The clock reads 5oclock am I grab onto my head Just two more hours, baby And then I can get up And go to school All the while drool As I doze like a little pup So here I am in math class With my head down on my desk And when my teacher wakes me She asks about my rest I ask her what she speaks of The word foreign to me Insomnia Is my game-a But then I fall back asleep Oh, insooooooomnia Oh, insooooooomnia It messes with your head Makes you feel dead Makes you just wanna crawl Like a fly on the wall Lay around on the floor Awake eight hours more Nothing that you can do Sleep evades you!
