Latent thoughts, unspoken desires Searching for release Constant clamor, noise of restraint I wish the cacophony would cease Held within, bridled words Cause rising instability The tension increasing until it Breeds a lack of civility A cure Oh My! A cure Oh My! My whole kingdom for surcease To open the door, release the flood And find some inner peace. At last, I've found a way To cause the turmoil to taper My heart holds the key It is poetry, emotion on paper Written December 27th, 2001 © on Dec 27 2001 07:32 AM PST   0 • 10
