The Astronomer's approach Was quite orthodox Tho'now he had met up With a paradox While directing a stroke With the greatest deft Should he go to the right Or the left The stars were lined up Very nicely that night The telescope's mirror Reflecting the light The view this night was both Surreal and dramatic A scene so clear Quite free of static With a decision required He could not leave to fate He sat there and wondered As he stared at the plate Should he do it Should he make the switch From grape to apple On his PB&J sandwichJanuary 2001, Written January 23rd, 2002 © on Jan 23 2002 03:56 AM PST   10 • 0 • 14
