Three wee fleas . . . livin' on a pup. One began bitin' . . . wakin' Rover up. Scratchin' and itchin' . . . he couldn't find a one. Laid back down . . . a sleepin' in the sun. Second little flea . . . makin' not a sound. Started chewin' hard . . . round an' round. Rover turned over . . . usin' a back paw. Diggin' an' thumpin' . . . stopped it with a claw. Just as his eyes closed . . . flea three began to work. Makin' that doggie wake . . . with a twitch'n an'a jerk. Havin' 'bout enough . . . he headed fer th'water. An there, he drowned those pesky fleas . . . just like a doggie ought'r.My silly little attempt at humor?!? Hope it made you smile Written October 31st, 1995 © on Nov 13 2001 01:16 PM PST   0 • 14
